Description

La Grande Rencontre is a festival of traditional music and dance organized by Espacetrad (also known as the SPDTQ) since 1992. Festival now takes place in May at Gesu in Montreal.

The festival is also hosting the Conference Trad Montreal, where artists, promoters and broadcasters of international trad network meet. The World Trad Forum and the annual general meeting of the organization was born during the 2013 edition of the conference and will be in future editions.
